Extended deadline for submission of abstracts: Tuesday, November 16, 2004

Before you begin please prepare the following information:

  • Contact details of presenting author
  • Abstract presentation type (Oral / Poster / Invited)
  • Abstract topic (click here for Topics page)
  • Detail of all affiliations of all abstract authors: department, institution / hospital, city, country
  • Authors names (initials and family name)
  • Keywords (minimum four, maximum five), each keyword followed by a ;
  • Abstract title
  • If there is any figure (graph / table) which accompanies the abstract text, it should be an image (JPG/BMP format, maximum size of 9cm width X 13cm height, up to 150dpi)
  • Abstract text is limited to a maximum of 250 words - if there is a figure then this number will be reduced accordingly, and you will be asked to adjust the number of words in your abstract to the new number. The re-calculated amount of words will be displayed on the upload window, once upload is finished. It is advisable to upload the figure before entering the abstract text to know this number.
  • Please note, once you press on submit, there is no option to edit the information you entered and you will have to start again!
  • In case you should need to correct your abstract after it was submitted, please contact the congress secretariat indicating your internet reciept number.

The image resolution must be not more than 150 DPI
  • Image width: no more than 9cm

  • Having an image may reduce the number of words allowed in your text , i.e. less then 250 words. Exact number of words will appear on the upload window, once upload is complete. Please edit your text accordingly.

  • Please note that the image may be resized, by the publishers, to fit in the final printed material.
