The AEP CongressesThe European Congress of Psychiatry, organised by the AEP, is the only annual European Congress dealing comprehensively with all the various aspects of psychiatry (diagnosis and classification, psychopathology, the various determinants of mental disorders, the various treatments, including psychopharmacology, the various types of psychotherapy and rehabilitation, community mental health care, organisation of mental health services, forensic and ethical aspects, etc.).The European Congress of Psychiatry takes place every year in early Spring. A Core Organising and Scientific Committee has been appointed and will remain stable for many years. The Congress has a high quality Core Scientific Programme, which contents remain the same in the various editions. The Core Scientific Programme covers the most promising areas of psychiatric research in Europe and many of the significant issues currently faced by European clinicians in their daily practice.
