The official language of the congress is English, with simultaneous translation from English to Russian for the plenary sessions on Thursday June 15th and Friday June 16th. Translation from English to Polish will be provided in the Solvay Sponsored symposium on June 15th from 13:30-15:00. OPENING CEREMONY & INAUGURATION OF ESSAM
Thursday, June 14th from 15:00The Opening Ceremony and Inauguration of ESSAM will be followed by a Welcome Reception, which will take place on Thursday, June 14th from 15:00 at the Hilton Convention Centre.
CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
Certificates of attendance have been inserted into participants’ bags. Participants should bring this to the Registration Desk on the last day of the meeting for their names to be printed in.TRANSPORT INFORMATION
Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Centre is located on the left side of the Wisla River.By Air : Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport: Distance from hotel - 11 km, Drive time: 30 min.
Located about 10 km outside of the city, the airport is easily accessible by taxi, MZA city buses, or shuttle buses, all of which make frequent trips back and forth from area hotels and other points within the city.
Taxi: The taxi stand is located in front of the Arrivals hall (+- EUR 8 to the Hilton Warsaw).
Bus: The Intercity Polski Express bus company provides direct regular bus connections to 30 towns in Poland; Bus stops are located immediately in front of the Arrivals hall between the terminal building and the multi-storey car park.
Bus no’s.175 and 188 serve Warsaw, including the train station, the Old Town and the city centre (journey time: 30 minutes +- EUR 3) Please do not forget to purchase a ticket at the Information Desk in the airport.
