Guidelines for the submission of abstracts

 

GUIDELINES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF ABSTRACTS: NOVEMBER 1, 1999

  1. Abstracts must be prepared in English
  2. Faxed abstracts will not be accepted for publication.
  3. Accepted abstracts for oral/poster presentation will be included in the Book of Abstracts, which will be published as a supplement to the International Journal, The Aging Male.
  4. Presenting authors whose abstracts are accepted for presentation must register for the Congress and pay
    the registration fee
  5. The abstract should be as informative as possible:
    a) state specific object of study
    b) state method used, if pertinent
    c) summarise results obtained
    d) state conclusions reached
  6. Standard abbreviations may be used.
  7. Type the abstract in small letters using a high quality printer (preferably a laser printer) with minimum font size of 10pt. The abstract format should be LANDSCAPE (height: 107mm, width: 170mm). Type the title in CAPITAL LETTERS, underlining presenting author and name of institute. Abstracts should contain no more than 250 words including title, author(s), country and acknowledgments.
  8. Please do not fold the abstract form.
  9. Send abstracts (3 copies) to:

  10. Abstracts may also be submitted via electronic mail to
    the following E-Mail address: aging@kenes.com
    using one of the following options: Please adhere to the size limits.
    a) - ASCII Format: Abstracts should be typed or pasted directly in the message itself.
    b) - Attachment: Abstracts should be attached to the E -Mail message using Word 7 or Word 97 for Windows.
  11. Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the Abstract Book exactly as submitted.
