About Giardini Naxos
Historically famous and picturesque Giardini Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily, is dominated by the rocky cliff where the ancient and world famous town of Taormina is situated.

Climate
The coastal regions have a typical Mediterranean climate, characterised by mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. Warm days are followed by cool nights.
The temperatures in Sicily in September/October range from 19°C - 27°C.

Clothing
Informal for all occasions; please bring a bathing suit, sunglasses and walking shoes. In the evening a jacket is recommended.

Airport Information
Catania Airport is located 55 km from Giardini Naxos and is a 40-45 minute drive by car. There are 7 flights per day both from Milan and Rome.

Personal Insurance
We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
