This half day course is intended to provide an update on selected important issues in basic immunology that are relevant to the understanding of immunological diseases and the development of new therapies. The course will be given Abul K. Abbas, MD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Abbas is well known for his research in Immunology and as a teacher of the subject.
