How to get to Sorrento:

PLANE:
Naples Capodichino Airport is located in the North-West side of the city. Daily flights link Naples to all parts of Italy anf of Europe. From Napoli Capodichino airport you may reach Sorrento in different ways. The Capodichino Airport is connected to the Railway Station, located in Garibaldi Square, by the ANM buses (departures about every 25 minutes) and to Beverello Harbour, located in the port of Naples, by CLP buses (departures about every 40 minutes outside the terminal on the Arrivals side).

Thanks to the efficient water age that links Naples to the main Southern-Italian towns and to the isles, you may reach Sorrento by sea, from the pier Molo Beverello of the port of Naples. Departures are every two hours (transfer will take about 30 minutes).

Departures from Naples-Pier Beverello to Sorrento:
09.00 am – 01.05 pm – 03.05 pm – 05.15 pm – 06.30 pm (apart from Saturday and Sunday) – 07.30 pm (apart from Saturday and Sunday).

Departures from Sorrento to Naples-Pier Beverello:
07.15 am (apart from Sunday) – 08.15 am – 09.45 am – 11.45 am – 01.45 pm – 04.30 pm – 06.40 pm (apart from Saturday and Sunday).

TRAIN
Please check updated timetables before leaving at the following website: http://www.vesuviana.it/ You may reach Sorrento by train, by the Circumvesuviana line that links Naples to the Southern-Italian towns. It takes about 65 minutes from the Circumvesuviana departure, at Naples Central Station (located in Garibaldi Square), to Sorrento. There are many trains and departures, that occur every half an hour. The circumvesuviana line stops at Napoli – Ercolano – Pompei – Castellamare di Stabia – Vico Equense – S. Agnello – Sorrento.

BUS

You may reach Sorrento by bus from Naples Capodichino Airport. Daily transfer is provided by Autolinee Curreri and does the following itinerary : Naples Capodichino Aiport – Nuove Terme Stabbiane – Vico Equense – Piano di Sorrento – Sorrento (Tasso Square). It takes about an hour to get to Sorrento by bus.

Departures from Naples Capodichino Airport to Sorrento : 09.00 am – 11.30 am – 01.00 pm – 02.30 pm – 04.30 pm – 07.00 pm.

Departure from sorrento to Naples Capodichino Airport : 06.45 am – 08.30 am – 10.30 am – 12.00 am – 03.00 pm – 05.30 pm.

CAR :
You may easily reach Sorrento by car. It is about 50 Km from Naples. If you are caming from

North: take highway (autostrada) A2 called Milano-Napoli, then highway A3 called Napoli-Salerno, exit Castellamare di Stabia , then take ss145 and exit at Sorrento.
East : take highway (autostrada) A16 called Bari-Napoli, then highway A3 called Napoli-Salerno, exit Castellamare di Stabia, then take ss145 and exit at Sorrento.
South : take highway (autostrada) A3 called Reggio Calabria- Salerno, then take Naples direction, exit Castellamare di Stabia, then take ss145 and exit Sorrento.
