The 2nd International Congress on Autoimmunity which took place in Tel Aviv, Israel in March 1999 and the 3rd International Congress on Autoimmunity which took place in Geneva, Switzerland, February 2002 attracted a large attendance. The majority of participants were from Europe, but many attended from the Americas, Asia, Australasia, Middle East and Africa.
