The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) is a global professional organization comprised of more than 20,000 individuals dedicated to clinical research and development. Founded in 1976, ACRP is the only international association solely dedicated to clinical research professionals. ACRP’s membership is derived from diverse backgrounds including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and CRO/SMO industries, clinical investigators and coordinating staff, ethics committees and regulatory authorities.
The purpose of the Association is to provide global leadership for the clinical research profession by promoting and advancing the highest ethical standards and practices. ACRP helps industry professionals stay abreast of current and upcoming research, government activities, industry news and information, and educational and professional development opportunities, by attending ACRP seminars, educational sessions, audio conferences, certification programs, and forum activities.
