Kenes International is the official travel agent for the Biomed 2006 Exhibition and Conference and is offering special reduced rates for acccommodation and tours.
Accommodation at special conference rates is available in the following hotels:

Please note: Hotel rates for Israeli participants are subject to additional VAT payment (16.5%).
Any changes in VAT will be reflected in the room rates at the time of payment. The charge will be made in NIS and according to the rate of exchange on the day of the transaction. Official check-in time for the hotels is 15:00 hours and check-out is required before 12:00 noon.

About the Hotels
Crowne Plaza Jerusalem
Crowne Plaza Jerusalem is located at the top of Givat Ram, adjacent to the Jerusalem International Convention Center and just a short walk from the Israel Museum, Science Museum, the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), Supreme Court and the Government Complex. 397 beautiful, spacious rooms featuring a terrace with a panoramic view of the old and new city, coffee/tea facilities, air conditioning, cable T.V, hair dryer & bathroom. Wireless High Speed Internet Access (WiFi) is available. The hotel houses a large pool surrounded by lawns. The pool is heated and covered during the winter.

Renaissance Jerusalem Hotel
The Renaissance Jerusalem Hotel is located near the entrance to the city on the main artery leading to every section of Jerusalem. The Hotel is near the Israel Museum, Bibleland Museum, Science Museum, Central Bus Station, Israel Parliament, International Convention Center and other places of interest. 650 luxurious rooms including royal and presidential suites and a variety of other suites. Individually controlled air conditioning and heating system, direct dial telephones with voice mail, color TV with CNN and cable. The Renaissance Jerusalem Hotel offers spacious public facilities, vast lobbies, restaurants, fine shops and a selection of meeting rooms for private functions and conferences.

We strongly advise all participants to reserve their hotel accommodation as soon as possible. Kenes International will not be able to guarantee rooms after May 1, 2006.
Hotel reservations will only be confirmed if credit card details for the deposit are supplied; alternatively please forward the required deposit by bank transfer or cheque.
Each participant will receive an individual confirmation, indicating the name and address of the hotel. The booking will be final upon receipt of the corresponding deposit.
For block bookings (10 rooms and up) companies are requested to send their request by fax or e-mail to Kenes International. Different payment and cancellation policies will apply.

PAYMENT
Full pre-payment for accommodation provided by Kenes International is payable (less deposit) before your arrival in Jerusalem.
Kenes International accepts Cheques, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and American Express credit cards.
Please note, 3 weeks prior to the congress, your credit card will be automatically charged for the balance of your hotel accommodation. Participants who paid their deposit with a bank transfer or cheque are required to send the balance of outstanding accommodation charges to Kenes International by latest 3 weeks prior to the congress.

ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION POLICY
Rooms cancelled prior to 60 days before arrival: full refund, less bank charges
Rooms cancelled between 59-15 days prior to arrival: US$ 100 cancellation charge
Rooms cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival: no refund
Cancellations or changes must be received in writing to Kenes International (either by fax or email) In the event of non-arrival, the Hotel will automatically release the reservation, and full payment will be non-refundable.
If you arrive later or leave earlier than on the dates indicated on your reservation form, the total accommodation amount will be charged and no refunds will be made.

Kenes International, and their agents shall not be responsible for and and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his /her luggage or any other property for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services provided. Personal travel and health insurance is recommended.
