The European Section of the ISBT will meet in the beautiful, fascinating and historic city
of Jerusalem from May 9 - 14, 1999. The Organizing Committee is planning a dynamic and
forward - looking program, featuring subjects that are at the cutting edge for the future
development and growth of our field. We are inviting leading international scientists who
will deal with all the important aspects of blood transfusion with special lectures and
symposia devoted to new and future developments.
We look forward to seeing you in Jerusalem. There, you will be able to partake of the
newest developments in our fast-changing field while capturing a first-hand glimpse of the
ancient wellsprings of western culture. In the modern and excellent surroundings of the
Jerusalem International Convention Center you will hear talks from the best in our field,
