Dear Friends and Colleagues,
At the end of the successful 10th ISBI Congress held in
Jerusalem there was a general appeal for an "encore", that would
offer to all of us a second opportunity to present and discuss burn
problems and present us once again the opportunity to meet and exchange
ideas. At the conclusion of the Jerusalem ISBI Congress the Mediterranean
Burn Club the MBC announced that there would be another international
meeting in Jerusalem next year. Since then, many colleagues not associated
with the MBC expressed their wish to come to this meeting and the
International Society for Burn Injuries – the ISBI extends their
endorsement to this meeting. It is now our pleasure to cordially invite
you to join us for The International Symposium and Course on Burns and
Fire Disaster Management
This meeting will include a symposium and educational courses. In the
symposium we will present and discuss topics concerning the care and
rehabilitation of burns and the management of fire disasters. Three
educational courses for doctors, nurses and physical and occupational
therapists will take place in this meeting as well. The meeting will be
held in Jerusalem, with its eternal and beautiful sites. There and
elsewhere in Israel, a wide variety of social and cultural events,
commemorating the end of this millennium and the year 2000 will take
place. As in the previous Congress we are determined to enjoy ourselves,
and you are all invited to join us in this unforgettable and unique
experience
