CONGRESS VENUE
The Lyon Convention Center Palais des Congres is the venue of the 3rd
International Congress on Coronary Artery Disease.

The official language of the Congress is English.
REGISTRATION DESK
The registration desk will operate at Palais des Congres as
follows:
Monday 2nd October 2000, open from 11:00 until 20:00
Tuesday 3rd October 2000, open from 07:30 and will remain open during all
congress functions.
INSURANCE
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal
accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants, students and
accompanying persons, either during or indirectly arising from the 3rd International
Congress on Coronary Artery Disease. Participants should make their own arrangements with
respect to health and travel insurance.

Fees for PARTICIPANTS include: participation in all scientific sessions, Congress kit,
program, abstract book, printed material of the Congress and invitation to Get-Together
Reception.
Fees for Registered Accompanying Persons Include: Invitation to the Get-Together Reception
and two half day tours.
PAYMENT
Payment for registration fees may be made by cheque payable to 3rd International
Congress on Coronary Artery Disease, or by bank transfer* to "3rd International
Congress on Coronary Artery Disease" Bank Leumi Le-Israel, Gan Ha'ir Branch, Tel
Aviv, Israel, Account Number PATAM 654-56143/71 or by credit card, i.e. Visa, Mastercard,
American Express or Diners Club.
*Please make sure that the name of the Congress and participant(s) is stated on the
transfer.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Fees will be refunded with a 25% deduction, if written cancellation is received
before August 10, 2000. After this date, no refund can be made.
PROJECTION EQUIPMENT
A projection area will be available every day 30 minutes prior to the
sessions at the Palais des Congres, to enable participants to check their slides
prior to presentation. Please remember to collect the slides from the
projectionist immediately after the session.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Please see the program for the exact date and board number for poster
presentations. Presenters in the morning session must put up their posters by
08:30 of the relevant morning and remove them at the end of the morning sessions
at 12:30. Presenters in the afternoon session must put up their posters by 13:00
and remove them at the end of the session. Presenters must stand alongside their
posters during the coffee breaks to answer any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: The Organizing Committee will not be held
responsible for posters which have not been collected.
ATTENDANCE
CERTIFICATES
An attendance certificate will be provided upon request for participants
who need proof of attendance for income tax or other purposes.

69005 Vieux Lyon on Wednesday 4th October at 20:00
Tickets for the farewell dinner may be purchased at the registration desk for
US$ 70 per person.
EXHIBITION
Due to problems arising from the change of location of the congress and
from lack of time, the exhibition in conjunction with the congress has,
unfortunately, been cancelled.
