Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I take great pleasure in inviting you
to the 4th International Congress on Coronary Artery Disease - from Prevention
to Intervention, which will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, October 21-24,
2001.
The
Prague meeting will provide a comprehensive update on coronary artery disease,
using the bed to bedside approach which was so successful in the previous
Coronary Artery Disease meetings. Key lectures will be delivered by a
distinguished international faculty, while a large number of selected free
communications will present data from multiple laboratories and clinical
research centers around the globe.
The program will include discussions on gene therapy and angiogenesis,
epidemiology and prevention, clinical aspects and clinical trials. There will
also be extensive discussions on the new areas in interventional cardiology and
the challenge of restenosis, and a comprehensive update on cardiac surgery and
new surgical procedures. The scientific program will be of an exceptionally high
standard and an interesting technical exhibition and social program are planned.
We look forward very much to welcoming you to the 4th International Congress
on Coronary Artery Disease in the beautiful and exciting city of Prague in
October 2001.
Yours sincerely,
Basil S. Lewis, MD, FACC, FESC
Chairman, Organizing Committee
