Kenes International is the official travel agent for the 5th International
Congress on
Coronary Artery Disease, and will be offering special reduced rates for
accommodation and tours.
BOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS
Kenes International has nominated O.I.C. Way srl to be the Congress
local travel agent for Individual hotel bookings. In order to benefit
from the above special congress rates, kindly send
the Accommodation Form with the required deposit by AIRMAIL,
FAX or E-MAIL at your earliest convenience. Only bookings made through
O.I.C. Way srl in advance will secure these rates.
We strongly advise all congress participants to reserve their hotel accommodation
as soon as possible. O.I.C. Way srl will not be able to guarantee rooms
after September 1, 2003.
Reservations will only be confirmed if the appropriate deposit of 1 night
hotel accommodation is sent together with your accommodation form.
Payment of the balance for the hotel accommodation, provided by O.I.C.
Way srl is payable (less deposit) directly to the hotel before your departure
from Florence.

CANCELLATION OF ACCOMMODATION FOR INDIVIDUALS
Any changes regarding a reservation or cancellation of a reservation should
be made in writing to O.I.C. Way srl. Cancellations advised until September
1, 2003 - the paid deposit will be refunded with a deduction of 30% for
administrative charges. No refunds for any cancellations received after
September 1, 2003.
In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release the
reservation, and the payment will be non-refundable.
AIRPORT INFORMATION AND TRAVEL TO FLORENCE
Galileo Galilei Airport (Pisa-Galilei Airport) handles most of the arrivals.
Some domestic and European flights also use Vespucci Airport, Peretola.
The Galileo Galilei Airport has a train service to the Santa Maria Novella
Train Station. Service is hourly throughout the day, and takes about 60
minutes. A public bus-line operates from Vespucci Airport to the downtown
area (line No. 62) every 20-25 minutes. The cost for a taxi from Galileo
Galilei Airport is approximately Euro 120 per taxi, and from Vespucci
Airport approximately Euro 15 to downtown. Official taxis are white with
a rectangle "Taxi" light sign on the top of the car.
BOOKING FOR GROUPS
For block bookings 5 rooms and up, companies are requested to
send their request by fax or E-mail to Kenes International. Different
payment and cancellation policies will apply.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Kenes International and O.I.C. Way srl shall not be responsible for and
shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury,
accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his/her luggage or
any other property for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services
provided. Personal travel and health insurance is recommended.
Official check-in time for the hotel is 15:00 and checkout is 10:00.
