Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The
Organizing Committee takes great pleasure in inviting you to participate
in the 5th International Congress on Coronary Artery Disease -
from Prevention to Intervention, which will be held on October
19-22, 2003 in Florence, Italy.
The Florence meeting will follow the format of the very successful
previous Coronary Artery Disease meetings and will provide a comprehensive
update on coronary disease in all its aspects. Keynote lectures
will be delivered by a distinguished international faculty, while
a large number of selected free communications will report new
data from basic research laboratories and clinical centers around
the globe.
The program
will use a bench to bedside approach, and include sessions on molecular mechanisms,
gene therapy and angiogenesis, epidemiology and prevention, pharmacology and clinical
trials. We will discuss new frontiers in interventional cardiology and new approaches
to the surgical management of coronary disease. We are certain that you will enjoy
the state of the art scientific program in this very fascinating and beautiful
environment. We look forward very much to welcoming you to ICCAD 5 - the
5th International Congress on Coronary Artery Disease in Florence, Italy, in October
2003. Yours sincerely,
Basil S. Lewis, MD, FESC, FACC
Chairman, Organizing Committee
