OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM

world. Step back in time as you travel along the beautiful stone walls built by
"Suliman the Magnificent". Enter the Old City along the route traveled
by generations of pilgrims. Walk through the oriental market: passing jewellery,
textile, souvenir, spices and sweet stores. Continue to the Cardo, with its
colonnaded Roman City streets and reconstructed Jewish Quarter. Follow the route
taken by the upper city dwellers to the Temple, via the "Western
Wall". Walk the route taken by Jesus as he carried the cross to Calvary,
and the Holy Sepulchre.
GALILEE
Depart Tel Aviv and drive along the costal road, Travel to Tiberias,
built by Herod Antipas as his Galilean capital. The wonders of
the Galilee unfold as you travel along the shores of the beautiful Sea of
Galilee. Visit Capernaum, where Jesus began his ministry after leaving his home
town of Nazareth. Tabgha "place of the seven springs", the traditional
site of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes.
Continuing to Kana where Jesus performed his first miracle. Visit Nazareth, the
place where the archangel Gabriel announced the birth of Jesus. |
