Certificates of Attendance and Continuing Medical Education (CME)
For Main Scientific Programme (Wednesday-Friday)
Delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance for the main meeting in their conference bag. Accreditation can then be obtained by filling in the delegate ’s name and then sending in this certificate along with the scientific programme to their National Continuing Education Board.
EU-ACME
The ICS 2008 meeting in Cairo, Egypt 20-24th October 2008 has been accredited within the EU-ACME programme by the European Board of Urology Accreditation Committee.
18,00 credits in category 2 for the whole event
The accreditation is in compliance with EBU/UEMS regulations - 1 credit per hour, with a maximum of 6 credits per day and a maximum of 18 credits for the whole event. The EU-ACME accreditation system is recognised by the American Medical Association. For CME participants it is recommended to bring their EU-ACME card scanned at the EU-ACME desk at the registration area and outside session halls.
FOR PRE-MEETING WORKSHOPS AND ICS EDUCATIONAL COURSES (MONDAY-TUESDAY)
Certificates of workshop attendance will be provided to delegates at the end of each workshop in exchange for the completed evaluation form. Accreditation can then be obtained by filling in the delegate’s name and then sending in this certificate along with the scientific programme to their National Continuing Education Board.
EU-ACME
The ICS 2007 pre-meeting workshops and ICS Educational Courses have been accredited within the EU-ACME programme by the European Board of Urology Accreditation Committee.

The accreditation is in compliance with EBU/UEMS regulations - 1 credit per hour, with a maximum of 6 credits per day and a maximum of 18 credits for the whole event. For CME participants it is recommended to bring their EU-ACME card scanned at the EU-ACME desk at the registration area or you can scan your card at the entrances for all the pre-meeting workshops and courses
It is the responsibility of the delegate to provide the attendance certificate to the appropriate Education Board. |
