PERSONAL ENVELOPE AND SYMPOSIUM BAG
Upon registration, you will receive a personal envelope containing your name badge and invitation to the Welcome Reception. You will also receive a symposium bag containing the final program and abstract book, and abstracts on a CD Rom.

All registered participants are invited to the Welcome Reception which will take place on the Lower Level of the Hilton Istanbul Convention Center.
POSTER PRESENTATIONSPosters will be displayed from 08:00 hours, Thursday, March 29 until 17:50 hours on Friday, March 30. Posters will not be presented on Saturday, March 31.
Each poster board will include an envelope in which you may place A4 reprints of your poster or relevant material.

AIRPORT INFORMATION
All international and domestic flights arrive at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport.
Buses depart from Istanbul airport to Taksim Area (downtown) every 30
minutes, operating between 06:00 – 23:00 hours. Travel time is 45 minutes
and the cost is approximately 5 Euros person.
Private taxis are available, and the approximate cost is 20-25 Euros per taxi.
CLIMATE
March is the beginning of Spring in Istanbul. Average temperatures are
6 – 18 °C. Rain is a possibility.
VISA
Please check with your travel agent whether you require an entry visa to
Turkey. Most visitor visas are obtainable for a fee on arrival at the airport,
but it is advisable to check in sufficient time before departure.
LETTER OF INVITATION
An official invitation letter to assist with visa or administrative procedures
is posted on the Symposium website. Please note that this letter can in no way be regarded
as a commitment regarding scheduling or financial support from the Symposium
Organizers.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
The organizer is not able to take any responsibility whatsoever for
injury or damage involving persons and property during the Symposium.
Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and
health insurance for their trip.
PESONAL INSURANCE
We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and
health insurance for their trip.
BANKING AND EXCHANGE
Turkish monetary system is Turkish Lira. Foreign currency may be changed at banks during normal banking hours from 09:00 to 16:00 hours during weekdays at hotels, airports and exchange offices. Exchange rates are set daily by the Central Bank. All major credit cards are acceptable in most hotels, restaurants and shops.
To assure that your credit card is honored, you should alert your bank/credit card company (Visa, M/C, etc.) that you will be traveling to Turkey.
