EAP 2008 NICE (FORMERLY EUROPEADIATRICS)
WELCOME MESSAGE
Dear Colleagues,
 On behalf of the Scientific and Organising Committee, we take pleasure in inviting
you to the 2nd Congress of the European Academy of Paediatrics - EAP, which
will take place in Nice, France, October 24-28, 2008.
The 1st Congress of the European Academy of Paediatrics - EAP took place in
Barcelona, October 2006 and was a huge success. With a record participation
of over 2500 participants, it is definitely the largest European Congress of
Paediatrics.
The collaboration of EAP-CESP (European Academy of Paediatrics), the UEMS
section of Paediatrics, with the two sub-specialty societies ESPR (European Society
for Paediatric Research / European Society of Neonatology) and ESPNIC (European
Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care) will continue. This time
many other paediatric societies are joining as part of the program.
The Congress will provide top-level education and state of the art information,
particularly aimed for paediatric subspecialists and paediatricians involved
in
hospital based paediatrics.
Primary-secondary paediatric tracks will be proposed throughout the congress.
A challenging nursing program will moreover be included.
The combination of the excellent scientific and innovating program together
with the social activities planed for the Nice Congress will offer you all possibilities
to strengthen scientific collaboration, renew friendships, and enjoy the city
of
Nice.
