Departure from Palermo towards Selinunte
Morning visit to the Greek ruins in the wide archaeological area of Selinunte. Lunch in a typical restaurant and transfer to Agrigento.
Upon arrival visit of the Temple's Valley: the temple of Zeus, of Eracle, of Concordia of Hera Lacinia, and Hellenic quarters.
At the end of the visit transfer to the hotel and room assignment

Departure towards Piazza Armerina and visit to the amazing multicoloured Roman mosaics of the Imperial Villa del Casale (II century A.D.), the most important archaeological site of all the Mediterranean area.
Lunch in a typical restaurant

After lunch transfer to Taormina; upon arrival visit to the outstanding ancient monuments and medieval buildings of the town (Greek Theatre, Romano Odeon, Palazzo Corvaja, Corso Umberto)
Transfer to the hotel and room assignment
Dinner in hotel and overnight

Departure for an exciting excursion to the Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. The bus will stop at 1900mt where the last lava flows of 1983 and the singular Crateri Silvestri are within ten minutes walk distance; the excursion can be extended up to the main crater's base (2900m) by cable-way plus 4xa mini-buses (with mountain guide's assistance), for enjoying the unique "lunar" landscape and the breathtaking panorama, additional duration about 2 hours. Lunch in a typical restaurant in the craters' area.
After lunch transfer to the Catania airport for departures.
