ACCOMMODATION AND TOURS

H.P.T. Travel is the official travel agent of the 7th Congress of the European Association for Palliative Care to be held in Palermo, Italy, April 1-5, 2001 and will be offering specially reduced rates for accommodation and Congress tours.

RESERVATIONS
H.P.T. Travel has reserved rooms in hotels of different categories in Palermo and surrounding, through its local ground agent:

Hotel reservations should be made by sending the Reservation Form to La Duca Viaggi Int. no later than 30 November, 2000. Thereafter hotel accommodation will be on request. All requests will be treated on a "first come, first served basis" and will be subject to availability. To guarantee hotel reservations the full prepayment for a minimum stay of three nights is required. If the requested hotel is not available, H.P.T. Travel will change the reservation to another hotel of a similar category. For block bookings (more than 15 rooms) companies should send their requests by fax to La Duca Viaggi Int. Different payment and cancellation policies will apply.

CANCELLATIONS
In case of changes and cancellations a written notification should be sent to La Duca Viaggi Int. Do not contact hotels directly. Any change is subject to a handling fee of 10 Euro.
The following cancellations fees will be deducted before refunding:
before 1 January, 2001 - full refund less handling fee of 50 Euro
from 2 January, 2001 to 1 March, 2001 - 50% penalty
after 2 March, 2001 - no refund

PAYMENTS
Hotel Reservations, Excursions and Post Congress Tours can be reserved by sending the enclosed Reservation Form to La Duca Viaggi Int. Bookings will not be processed without the proper payment, to be made in Euro only, to H.P.T. Travel :
- Bank transfer free of charge, to H.P.T. Travel at Cariverona Banca Spa , Agency no 3 Verona, Account no, 13995/5/10 CAB code 11705, ABI code 6355;
- Eurocheque in Euro only. A surcharge of 7 Euro is required for foreign cheques to cover bank fees;
- Credit Cards (American Express, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Diners).

Hotel rates are per room and per night, including breakfast, services and taxes

(**) located in Terrasini, at 19 km from downtown (including round 
trip transportation)
