Dear Participants

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, the European Atherosclerosis Society and Kenes International, we wish to thank you for your participation at the 77th EAS Congress, which was held in Istanbul, April 26-29, 2008 and organized jointly with The Turkish Society of Cardiology.

The enormous feedback which we have received from Congress participants has shown us that the Congress provided an excellent opportunity for the participants to visit Istanbul, whilst at the same time bringing their expertise to this location.

As you may already know, this was the most attended EAS Congress so far. We were delighted to host over 2,700 participants from 73 different countries who found the scientific program and the sponsored sessions both stimulating and enriching.

We will continue in our efforts to ensure the same high standard at the 78th Congress and we look forward to welcoming you to Hamburg in June 2010!
