PRESS PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

Press relations

  1. Major sponsors and symposia holders are welcome to hold press briefings in our press room and distribute press releases.
  2. The press briefing and press releases must be coordinated in advance and their content should be approved by the congress chairmen. If your company wishes to hold a press briefing in the congress press room please reply with your request no later then April 10, 2007.
  3. The slots for the press briefings will be distributed on a "first come first serve" basis.
  4. Press releases by companies must be received for approval by Kenes  not later than 30 days before the beginning of the congress (for the approval of the EAS executive committee)
  5. Companies may place their press releases in the press room. (pending the above approval)
  6. Embargo policy: Companies may not hold press briefings,  make an announcement or place a press release prior to discussion of the relevant topic / product in the satellite symposium.

Press registration

  1. Journalist may approach the registration desk to present his/her press card and receive free press admittance to the congress.
  2. Upon registration the journalist will receive a press kit including the timeline of the “official congress press briefings” (all the briefings that are coordinated and approved by the EAS executive committee.

Invitations for journalists

  1. The EAS congress will send invitations both to International and local press to participate in the congress. However the EAS cannot guarantee the # of journalists that will cover the congress/attend the press briefing or report about the congress or any of the press briefings.
  2. The industry is allowed to invite journalists (as per the press registration section above)

Press Room
A press room with telephone, fax and on-line access to the internet including WIFI is available to registered journalists. Journalists must register at the Registration Desk.

Official congress newsletter
The congress is planning to issue official congress newsletters on the 2nd and 3rd day of the congress. Solo sponsorship for this newsletters are still available (until April 1st). If you are interested, please approach Maya Yatsiv at: myatsiv@kenes.com
