Buses depart from Istanbul airport to Taksim Area (downtown) every 30 minutes, operating between 06:00 - 23:00 hours. Travel time is 45 minutes. Private taxis are available.VISA INFORMATIONWe strongly recommend that all visitors to Turkey check whether an entry visa is required in advance. Most visitor visas are obtainable for a fee on arrival at the airport, but it is highly advisable to check in sufficient time before departure. Foreign currency may be changed at banks during normal banking hours from 09:00 to 16:00 hours during weekdays at hotels, airports and exchange offices. Exchange rates are set daily by the Central Bank. All major credit cards are acceptable in most hotels, restaurants and shops. To assure that your credit card is honored, you should alert your bank/credit card company (Visa, M/C, etc.) that you will be traveling to Turkey.
