On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to beautiful Galilee, Israel, from September 21-24, 2000, for the 32nd Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group of the EASD.

This meeting follows the EASD Annual Meeting held in Jerusalem September 17-21, once again enables participants to share experiences, developments and research.

We are offering an exciting and practical scientific programme focusing on:

• Treatment of Women with previous GDM
• Effect of Maternal nutrition on the foetal metabolism
• Influence of maternal diabetes on the offspring
• Gestational Diabetes, screening, diagnosis and treatment
• Nation-wide registration/organisation of care of diabetic pregnancies-are the aims achieved?

Our meeting venue is the lovely Nof Ginosar Kibbutz Guesthouse located by the Sea of Galilee . The variety and contrasts of Israel's landscapes are richly manifested in the glorious Galilee region.
