The Meeting will take place at Nof Ginosar Kibbutz Guesthouse, Galilee. Nof
Ginosar lies on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, at the foot of Mount Arbel and
with a magnificent view of the Golan Heights.

CANCELLATION
POLICY
Refund of registration fees will be as follows:
Postmarked before August 15, 2000 - 100% refund (minus US $30 handling
fee)
Postmarked from August 15, 2000 - 50% refund
(No refund on cancellations sent after August 15, 2000)
LANGUAGE
English is the official language of the Meeting.
CLIMATE
 The
weather in the Galilee in September is warm and pleasant during the day and
cooler in the evening. Temperatures range from 16 - 28 º C (62 - 83
º F).
CLOTHING
Informal for all occasions; please bring sunglasses, bathing suit and
comfortable walking shoes.
LETTER
OF INVITATION
If a participant needs a letter of invitation to attend the Meeting, please
request it from the Secretariat at the address below. This invitation, however,
does not imply a commitment to payment of any expenses.
VISAS
Participants from most countries do not require a visa to Israel, but we suggest
that you ask your travel agent to check for you.
Participants residing in a country with Israeli Consulate/Embassy who require a
visa should apply to the Consulate at least SIX WEEKS prior to arrival. The
Secretariat will send you a letter of invitation for visa purposes upon request.
PERSONAL
INSURANCE
We recommend that all participants take out personal travel and health insurance
for their trip.
AIR
TRAVEL
EL AL Israel Airlines - the official carrier of the EASD Annual Meeting - offers
special airfares for participants and their spouses with a waiver of the minimum
stay. In order to be eligible for this offer, please call any El Al reservations
office, identify yourself as a participant and mention the code: G/S21/CSE/P15.
Reservations and ticketing should be done through El Al offices only. To
qualify for this special offer, please submit a copy of your confirmation of
registration. An updated list of El Al offices can be obtained from the
