Based upon workshop format arrangements, the impact of evidence-based medicine principles upon various issues of diabetes care (content and structure, process and patient-oriented outcome) are to be discussed. Medical journalists (Anna Larsson, Stockholm), persons with diabetes, physicians (Dr. O. Kalter-Leibovici, Tel-Hashomer), public health experts, clinical investigators and representatives of the Cochrane Collaboration will present their views and special expertise.
The meeting will be informal and open to everybody interested, only dependent on the availability of seat accommodation. The conference is not sponsored.
