With the proposed admission of the Czech Republic to the European
Union in 2003, a possible rise in VAT from 5% to 16-22% is forecast.
In the event of such an increase, the resulting increase in hotel
rates will be passed on to the client.
Official check-in time for hotels is 15:00 and check-out time is
noon.
TRANSPORTATION
All registered participants and registered accompanying persons
who are staying in hotels booked through Kenes International and
Liberty Incentives & Congresses that are NOT within walking
distance from the Prague Convention Center will be provided with
a Metro Travel Card. This card is complimentary and is valid for
one person during September 2-6, 2003.

Kenes International has nominated Liberty Incentive &
Congresses to be the Congress local travel agent for Individual
hotel bookings. In order to benefit from the above special congress
rates, kindly send the enclosed Accommodation Form with the required
deposit by AIRMAIL, FAX or E-MAIL at your earliest convenience.
The Accommodation Form may also be downloaded from this website.
Only bookings made through Liberty Incentive & Congresses
in advance will secure these rates.
We strongly advise all congress participants to reserve their hotel
accommodation as soon as possible. Liberty Incentive & Congresses
will not be able to guarantee rooms after August 1, 2003.
Reservations will only be confirmed if full credit card details
are supplied; alternatively please forward the appropriate deposit
as follows:
5 star hotels - € 250
4 star hotels - € 200
3 star hotels - € 100
PAYMENT
Payment for accommodation, provided by Liberty Incentive & Congresses
is payable in full (less deposit) two weeks before your arrival
in Prague.
Liberty accepts Travellers' cheques, Euro cheques (in the currency
of the issuing country), Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club credit
cards, bank transfers or bank cheques (no personal cheques).
CANCELLATION OF ACCOMMODATION FOR INDIVIDUALS
Cancellations must be received in writing before July 1, 2003. After
July 1, no refund is possible.
In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release
the reservation, and the payment will be non-refundable (Based on
minimum 3 nights stay).
Participants checking out of the hotels earlier then their original
dates that have been confirmed, will be charged for the nights not
used.
AIRPORT INFORMATION AND TRAVEL TO PRAGUE
International flights arrive at Prague's Ruzyne Airport located
20 km from downtown.
- The private Cedok minibus shuttle operates between the airport
and Namesti Republiky, a downtown square near the Old Town. Shuttles
run in both directions every 30-60 minutes. The shuttle operates
24 hours a day to hotels. The shuttle to Namesti Republik only
operates until 21:00 hours. The cost one way is approximately
€3, dependent on final destination.
- Taxis are available 24 hours a day. Approximate cost is €24
per taxi one way dependent upon final destination.
For block bookings 10 rooms and up, companies are requested
to send their request by fax or E-mail
to Kenes International. Different payment and cancellation
policies will apply.
