INDUSTRY SUPPORT TO THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
Sessions Planned by the Scientific Committee
We invite the industry to join our efforts to provide the
best possible continuing medical education by supporting main topics
and teaching courses with unrestricted grants. Companies giving
an unrestricted grant for main topics or teaching courses will be
listed as sole sponsor of this session in the final programme and
in the Congress website.
Cost: € 10,000
Satellite Symposia
Pharmaceutical companies are invited to organise satellite
symposia within the framework of the 7th EFNS Congress in Helsinki.
The quality of the scientific programme of satellite symposia has
to be approved by the Congress Programme Committee. A draft of the
satellite symposium programme must be submitted to EFNS head office
by December 31, 2002. The proceedings of satellite symposia may
be published in a supplement to the European Journal of Neurology,
the official journal of the EFNS.

Room sizes vary between 400/700/1000 seats and will be assigned
on "first-come,-first-served basis".
Cost: € 28,000
A maximum of four satellite symposia may be organised in parallel.
The lecture halls for satellite symposia are fully equipped for
slide, overhead and computer projection.
The cost comprises lecture hall, projection facilities, microphones
for speakers/chairpersons' table and general discussion, technical
operating staff and room attendants, and a desk outside the hall
for distribution of material.
All other expenses (e.g. invited speakers, refreshments, etc.)
are the responsibility of the organising company.
The Congress will make every effort to promote these satellites:
1. All satellites will be included in the Congress website
with a link to the company's
website.
2. Satellite symposia booked before May 31, 2002 will be
included in the preliminary
programme of the congress.
3. Upon request, the invitation will be inserted free of
charge into the congress
bags.
4. Satellites will be listed with the scientific sessions
in the final programme and the
abstracts included in the abstract volume.
The EFNS logo may be used on invitations to satellite symposia.
Booking for satellite symposia will be accepted on a "first-come-first-served"
basis.
A deposit of 30% of the cost for satellite symposia is requested
at the time of booking. Payment in full must be made by June 15,
2003.
