OPTIONAL TOURS

A visit to Helsinki is a unique experience - offering a wide range of exciting opportunities waiting to be discovered.

  • Pick-up and drop off for day tours will be from the Congress Centre.
  • All tours include entrance fees as per itinerary and touring in an air-conditioned bus with the service of an English-speaking guide.
  • Rates for all tours are based on a minimum 20 participants per tour.
  • Changes in routes, departure/arrival times may occur for reasons beyond our control.
  • Please bring comfortable walking shoes and a casual warm jacket.
  • Tours throughout Helsinki will be offered at the Congress Tours desk to give participants an opportunity to explore the city.
  • Tours are operated by Congreszon ltd- the Congress local agent.

ORIENTATION CITY TOUR

Visit the National Museum of Finland. Major archaeological finds, the development of Finnish society and culture from the beginning of the Middle Ages to the present times. Continue by bus to the most important and interesting parts of Helsinki: historical centre and diplomatic quarters, the Presidential Palace, City Hall, The Parliament, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House.

FINNISH EVENING

Experience the taste of Finland, enjoy the traditional music, feel the warm breeze of the sea, all this at the Finnish Evening! This will take place in a lovely setting by the sea just outside the centre of Helsinki.

Reservations should be made directly through Congreszon Ltd., the local Congress agent. Bookings will be made on a ` first- come-first-served´ basis. Deadline for binding reservations is May 31, 2003.

Cancellation of Tours
Congreszon Ltd Congress reserves the right to make changes in the itineraries or to cancel the tour. In such case, the payment will be refunded in full.
Cancellations received by June 1, 2003: Payment less the handling fees of € 35 (day tours) / € 50 (overnight tours) will be refunded.
No refund after June 1, 2003.
