20:00 Visit and Reception at the Transport Museum
The Transport Museum in Glasgow is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Scotland with over 500,000 visitors going there each year. Opened in 1964 and now housed in the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, the museum contains everything involved in the history of transport from trams to bikes. The museum uses vehicles and models to tell the story of how transportation has developed and changed throughout the ages.

20:00 Visit and Reception at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is world renowned for the quality of its international art collection which includes Impressionists and Italian and Dutch Renaissance paintings. The building itself is worthy of note, a large and imposing late Victorian red sandstone contruction, it is one of Glasgow's landmark buildings. It is also famous for the myth that it was built back-to-front and the architect jumped to his death from one of it's towers.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum closed in June 2003 for a long-planned and extensive refurbishment which will be completed in June 2006.
