From there, always following the footsteps of Cajal, we will walk down to the nearby former Laboratory of Biological Research (1901 - 1932) and current Museum of Anthropology and fiinally, arrive at the "Antiguo Hospital San Carlos" - the old Medical School (located right next to the Illustrious College of Physicians and the former General Hospital - currently "Reina Sofia" Museum of Contemporary Art). We will then enter the "Aula Ramon y Cajal" where Cajal used to teach the first year medical students (well into the 1920s) histology along with his direct disciple Tello.  There, we will have the opportunity to actually attend a (recorded) lecture delivered by Cajal himself.

The tour will include a half an hour slow-walk from the bus to the Hospital and a 10 minute walk from the Hospital back to the bus.

The price of the tour is €40, including lunchboxes.
