- Images, tables, diagrams, graphs must be saved and uploaded as BMP
or JPG files. Other file types cannot be accepted. Please note that
these may be resized to fit in the final printed material. Click

- Company sponsored symposia abstracts will be published in the official
meeting book of abstracts.
If you are unable to submit abstracts via the website, please contact
the Secretariat.
- ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED BY FAX WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract
to be published in the official Meeting Abstract Book.
- Authors presenting abstracts must be registered participants.
- Abstracts must be original and must not be or have been published
or presented at any other Meeting prior to the 23rd Annual Meeting of
ESPID.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- The abstract must be received by the deadline of January 17, 2005.
Abstracts received after the deadline will NOT be considered. Faxed
abstracts will NOT be accepted.
ABSTRACT PREPARATION
- Title of abstract must be in upper and lower case.
- Author(s) names must be in Upper case (e.g. J.J.C. SMITH)
- Abstracts should contain no more than 280 words, including acknowledgements.
- Abstracts stating: "data will be discussed in the presentation"
will NOT be accepted.
- Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations
in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
- Use generic names of drugs. Express numbers as numerals.
ABSTRACT PRESENTATION
For Oral Presentations: If using a Power Point (or any other computer)
presentation, please note you need to bring it on an "IBM compatible"
floppy disk (3.5 "/1.44 MB) or on a CD or on a "disk on key"
(using the USB port in the computer), and load it on the congress' computer
in the same hall as your session, at least 30 minutes before the start
of your session (during breaks).
Please note that double slide projection and video tape recorders are
not standard equipment and will only be made available on request, in
writing, to the ESPID Secretariat's office 3 weeks before the meeting.
