CLOTHINGDuring the entire meeting attire will be casual and informal.
AIRPORT INFORMATIONInternational and domestic flights arrive at Valencia Airport.Buses leave from the airport to the city approximately every 60 minutes, the travel time is approximately 45 minutes. Cost per person, approximately EURO 1. Private taxis are available at an approximate cost of EURO 15 and the travel time is approximately 20 minutes, depending upon traffic. AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS SERVICEA special shuttle bus service from the airport to the meeting hotels for registered ESPID participants will be operating on Tuesday, May 17th and Wednesday, May 18th at a cost of 12 Euro per person. In order to reserve your seat, please send your full flight details including date of arrival, flight number and estimated arrival time no later than May 10th, 2005 to espid@kenes.comPayment for this service must be settled upon reservation, therefore please include your credit card number and expiry date as well as your authorization to charge Euro 12 per seat (you can order more then one seat). A confirmation will be sent to you by return email.

MEET THE PROFESSOR WORKSHOPSMeet The Professor Workshops will be held on Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20. Participation is included in the registration fee. Pre-registration is necessary and will be made only on site. Please contact the hospitality desk for an entry pass. Participation is limited to 100 participants and will be on a first come, first served basis.
ESPID RESEARCH LUNCHESPID members are invited to participate in a Research Lunch that will be held on Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20. Tickets will be available on-site only and will be obtainable from the Membership Desk (next to the Registration Desk). Participation is limited to 30 participants and will be on a first come, first served basis. (The lunch is included in the registration fee for ESPID members.)Detailed information on topics and moderators will be published on this website.
ACCOMMODATIONKenes International is the official travel agent for the 23rd Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases - ESPID to be held in Valencia, and will be offering specially reduced rates for accommodation and Meeting tours.TRADE EXHIBITIONAn exhibition by pharmaceutical and vaccine companies will take place within the framework of the Meeting. Potential exhibitors can request information from the Meeting Secretariat.
