Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, I am pleased to invite you to the 25th Annual ESPID Meeting that will take place in Porto, Portugal in 2007.

We are glad to have the opportunity to host the ESPID meeting for the first time in our country.

The main topics are Infection and Immunity. We intend to provide you with an interesting and high quality Scientific Program discussing epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment for common and rare infectious diseases.

Porto is located in the north of the country, one of the most attractive regions of Portugal, with magnificent monuments, the lavish vineyards where the famous Porto wine is produced, hospitable ambience and beautiful weather.

We look forward to welcoming you to Porto for ESPID 2007.
