The Valencia Conference Centre is situated on a major road accessing the city from the northeast, Avenida Cortes Valencianas, one of the main avenues leading into this modern metropolis. This is an ideal site in view of its proximity to the international airport at Manises and its excellent links to the city centre by metro, bus or tram.

Valencia is one of the most attractive Mediterranean cities in Spain. The city was founded by the Romans in the second century BC and maintains traces of different civilizations that have all left their cultural legacy. Whilst walking through Valencia you can admire monuments and sights such as the Serrano Towers, La Lonja (the old market), the Miguelete (the cathedral’s belfry) or the baroq marques de Dos Aguas Palace with its Ceramic Museum.
Valencia is the third largest city in Spain with a population of nearly one million inhabitants and an annual average temperature of 19 degrees Celsius.
CME Credits
As in all our previous congresses, an application has been made to the (EACCME) European Accreditation Council For Continuing Medical Education Institution Of The European Union Of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Further details will be made available on this congress website.
Refresher Courses
Pre-registration is recommended for refresher courses lectures on Wednesday 12th September for a fee of €10 per lecture. You may pre-book your preferred options using the online registration procedure. Please check the final programme for final confirmed lecture times as they may be subject to change.
Luncheon Sessions
A new addition to this years program is the introduction of Luncheon sessions which are limited to a maximum of 10 participants (residents only). You may pre-book your ticket for €30 (light buffet lunch included) as per the selection on the scientific program.
Workshops
If you wish to participate in one of the workshops tickets may also be pre-booked on line for a fee of €15 per workshop. Space will be limited so early booking is recommended.
Cadaver Workshops
Participation to the Cadaver Workshops are strictly limited in number and your early registration is highly recommended. On-line registration is available at €50 per session. These workshops will take place at a venue other than the congress centre and will take place as per below schedule.

English is the official language of the Congress.
Personnal Insurance
We recommend that all participants take out personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Airport Information
International and domestic flights arrive at Valencia Airport. Buses leave from the airport to the city approximately every 60 minutes, travel time approximately 60 minutes cost per person approx €1.
Taxis are available outside the terminal building at a cost of approximately €15.
There are also several leading car hire companies based at the airport.
