The aim of this study was to find out how Blue-on-Yellow (B/Y) Perimetry
and Frequency-Doubling Perimetry (FDT)results correlate with structural
measures obtained with Confocal Scanning Laser Tomography for the diagnosis of
early glaucoma with no White-on- White Perimetric defects but clinically
abnormal excavation. The study population consisted of 19 normal subjects, 34
patients with clinically abnormal excavaciones and 15 patients with early
glaucoma.
After testing, multiple regression analysis found that in the group of glaucoma suspects the
most important predictors were RNFL cross section area and mean RNFL, which
significantly correlated with the B-Y visual Field MD.
