Purpose: 1.To study the influence of braine vascular disorders and Willi's circle functional state on the eye hemo- and hydrodynamics. 2.To determine the role of the braine blood-flow disorders in development of primary open-angle glaucoma. Methods: In 154 patients with the above mentioned vascular disorders the brain and eye hemodinamics was study by mean of radiocirculography, ultrasound dopplrography of intra- and extracranial segments of art.carotis, art.vertebralis an the tests of Willi's circle functional state. The investigations of the eye hydrodynamics and visual functions in the same patients were performed. Results: The frequency and character of the eye blood-flow disorders (art.ophthalmica) were found to depend on the lacalization of the pathology in brain vessels and the of Willi's circle functional state. In the damage of extracranial vessels a dificiency of the eye blood0flow develops (group 1, 22 cases). In the damage of intracranial vessels of the brain the eye blood-flow was increased (group 2, 10 cases) - total 32 patients. Primary OAG was diagnosed in 25 patients (16.25%) from 154. Among them 8 patients had normal-tension glaucoma. Conclusion: The brain intra- and extracranial occlusive vascular diseases as well as disorders the Willi's circle functional state, it means the disorder brain blood-flow autoregulative mechanisms, are the risc factors of open-angle (normal- and high-tension) glaucoma development.
