A study of aqueous veins in normal patients- "The fascinating ways of a cientific discovering" Since 1946, when Ascher and Goldmann observed aqueous flowing trough conjunctival veins, many fundamental concepts to understand glaucoma wore introduced. We studied 30 normal eyes, number and type of aqueous veins in nasal, temporal, upper and lower quadrants, and flow or inflow of aqueous humor, after compression of the receptor vein.About 60% of the total veins observed wore found at nasal quadrants, and 90% showed aqueous inflow, almost similar to classic papers of Ascher and Goldmann. We propose also a beautiful diagram to do notations for studies in aqueous veins.
