A RETROSPECTIVE STUDY COMPARING THE LONG TERM RESULTS OF PHACOTRABECULECTOMY
VS PHACOSCLERECTOMY

A total of 65 patients were included in this study. All patients underwent combined cataract/filtering surgery, either phacotrabeculectomy or phacodeepsclerectomy. The results of the operation including visual acuity, IOP and number of antiglaucomatous drugs needed to control the IOP after a period of between 6 months and 18 months were compared in both groups. The results will be presented and discussed.
