Comparative study between combined surgery of phaco-non penetrating deep sclerectomy versus phaco-trabeculectomy. To study prospectively the success rate and complications of deep sclerectomy in relation to phaco-trabeculectomy. The evaluation was 42 eyes of 40 patients who underwent phaco-non penetrating deep sclerectomy: 18 and phaco-trabeculectomy: 22. All the patients had uncontrolled primary open angle galucoma. The mean pre-operative and post-operative intraocular pressure, surgical success ratios were calculated and the two groups were compared in terms of success and the incidance of complications.
