HISTORIC DELFSHAVEN

The tour begins with a guided tour at the shipyard of De Delft
(a replica of an 18th century VOC ship) where coffee and pastries
will be served. Enjoy a walk through the unique city of Delfshaven,
and learn about the history of Rotterdam. Visit the Dubbelde Palmboon
Museum (a former warehouse) and view the permanent exhibition of
"Rotterdam in the Past". End the tour with a visit to
a brewery and enjoy a taste of either Genever or beer.

ROTTERDAM AND KINDERDIJK
Monday, June 21, 2004 10:00 - 17:15 hrs
The tour begins with a walk through the city of Rotterdam. A snack
at the Caf? Rotterdam, with a view of the Maas River is included.
During the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride to Kinderdijk, where one
can view this city with more than 1,000 windmills. During 1740,
19 windmills were built. These windmills are very well preserved,
and still in use today. In 1997 the mills of Kinderdijk were put
on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
