Kuoni Travel Ltd-Incoming Services is the official travel agent for the 9th International Conference on The Mechanical Behaviour of Materials to be held in Geneva, and will be offering specially reduced rates for accommodation and conference tours.

Kuoni Travel Ltd holds allocations of rooms at special rates at the hotels mentioned in the list. Only bookings made through Kuoni Travel Ltd in advance will secure these rates. Please refer to the list to make your selection. Reservations on an individual basis should be made on the hotel booking form. For block bookings, companies are requested to send their request by fax to Kuoni Travel Ltd directly.

Forms must be received no later than April 15, 2003; thereafter accommodation will be subject to availability.

Reservations will only be confirmed if credit card details are fully supplied; alternatively please forward a one-night deposit by bank transfer to:

Cancellations must be received in writing before April 15, 2003; after this date a fee equivalent to the deposit guarantee will be charged to your credit card.

In the event of non-arrival, the reservation will automatically be released by the hotel by 09.00 hours the following day, and the deposit guarantee will not be refunded.

For block bookings (more than 15 rooms) different payment and cancellation policies will apply.

For individual bookings, participants are advised to take out personal insurance in case of unexpected late cancellation.

Kuoni Travel Ltd will endeavour to meet all accommodation requests. However, Kuoni Travel Ltd reserves the right to change the requested hotel to one of a similar category if they are unable to confirm those offered in the brochure.

Accommodation at special Conference rates is available at the following Hotels

Rates are based on 2003 prices and are quoted in CHF.
Rates quoted are per room, per night and include buffet breakfast
Service charges are included.
**City tax is not included and is subject to change.
The present city tax is:

• 5 star hotel: CHF 3.25 per person per night
• 4 star hotel: CHF 2.60 per person per night
• 3 star hotel: CHF 1.90 per person per night
• 2 star hotel: CHF 1.55 per person per night
  

Transportation from the hotels to Palexpo
Participants will be entitled to free transport on all Geneva local buses (TPG). This service will be provided to all conference participants wearing the conference badge when boarding the bus.
This service will be valid throughout the conference.
