Call for Abstracts - Late Breakers
Introduction
The Scientific Program Committee is pleased to invite members of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society and others to submit Late-Breaker abstracts for presentation at the 12th Biennial Meeting.
Deadline for the submission of abstracts is September 8, 2008. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
All Late-Breaker abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. A limited number off abstracts will be accepted for presentation and the Scientific Committees decision is final.
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.
Please note that abstract content may be edited at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.

Rules for submission to the 12th Biennial Meeting of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
- The Scientific Program Committee will review abstracts and information regarding acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the corresponding author.
- The abstracts for all presentations given will be published in a supplement to the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer and subsequently available through Medline.
Guidelines for Submission
Before you begin, please prepare the following information:
- Presenting author's contact details; include full mailing address, office hours phone number and email address.
- Author or authors' names: initial(s) of first name(s), family name
- Affiliation details of all authors: Department; Institution / Hospital; City; State (if relevant); Country.
- Abstract title (limited to 20 words) in UPPER CASE.
- Figures, tables or graphs which you wish to include in the abstract should be image files. Images should be submitted in JPG/BMP format, maximum width 13cm, maximum height 18cm and resolution up to 150dpi. Click here for more guidelines.
- Abstract text – limited to 250 words (fewer if a figure is included in the abstract)
We recommend using word-processing software (for example Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words. Typing your text directly into the field is not recommended:
a. You will not be able to see the abstract after pressing the Submit button
b. You will not have a copy
c. You cannot check the number of words
