Dear friends and colleagues,

We cordially invite you to participate in the 6th International Meeting on Interventional Cardiology: Frontiers in Interventional Cardiology that will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel, during December 6-7, 2004.

The field of Interventional Cardiology is in the process of rapid growth undergoing constant, innovative and evolutionary changes, combining novel catheter-based technologies with new frontiers in pharmaceutical and molecular biology research. To accelerate research initiatives and optimize patient care strategies, it is of utmost importance to enhance the flow of information and ideas among the deeply committed researchers and clinicians involved in this field.

Similar to previous years several hot topics will be highlighted during the meeting, including novel devices for coronary intervention, novel molecular strategies to limit restenosis; vascular molecular biology; stents and antiproliferative stent coatings; adjunctive drug therapy; the role of coronary brachytherapy and other issues.

The meeting will include a number of key world leaders who will have the responsibility of organizing the curriculum, supervising mini-symposia and discussions as well as selecting abstracts for oral and poster presentations. In addition to the focused scientific sessions, there will be selected live case presentations from several catheterization laboratories in Israel, presenting instructive and complicated cases in interventional cardiology.

The venue for the meeting is Tel Aviv, the largest city and biggest commercial center in Israel. Being a busy metropolis, this city inspires its visitors with a unique energetic atmosphere of excitement and fun. Tel Aviv's seafront skyscrapers and exclusive hotels are visible from a distance, presenting a lively combination of entertainment venues, shopping malls, exotic markets, nonstop active nightlife, beautiful golden beaches and all kinds of wonderful restaurants.
Tel Aviv is also the country's greatest cultural center, a home for a variety of museums, galleries, theatres and concert halls.

We look forward to the pleasure of greeting you at what promises to be an exciting and fruitful meeting with a high scientific standard.

Yours sincerely,

The Organizing Committee
