Cancellation Policy
Refund of registration fees will be made as follows: (a written request is mandatory)

  • Postmarked prior to October 1, 2003 - 100% refund (less US$ 40 handling fee)
  • Postmarked from October 2, 2003 - November 15, 2003 - 50% refund
  • Postmarked after November 16, 2003 - no refund

Technical Equipment
Oral session halls will be equipped with computer projection (PowerPoint presentation). Please note that double slide projection and video tape recorders are not standard equipment and will only be made available on request, in writing, to the INVC-5 Secretariat's office 3 weeks before the congress.

Posters
Poster size will be 90cm wide x 1.70m high. Posters should be concise and contents should be readily accessible to the viewer. It is an advantage if the poster has an attractive appearance. As a guide, the poster should be legible at a distance of 1.5m.

Visas
A visa to Israel is not necessary for participants from most countries, but we suggest that you ask your travel agent to check for you. For countries without diplomatic relations with Israel, please write or E-mail directly to the meeting secretariat, no later than TWO MONTHS prior to the symposium, giving the following details: full name, date and place of birth, passport number and date and place of issue and expiration date, flight details (arrival date and flight number). The meeting secretariat will do its utmost to ensure that a visa will await you at the airport in Israel.

Letter of Invitation
Upon request, the meeting secretariat will send a personal invitation to participate in the symposium. It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to help participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa, and does not represent a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support.

Electricity
Electrical equipment in Israel is 220 volt A.C., single phase, 50 cycles. Some appliances require an adapter for the plug that can be purchased locally
