English is the official language of the Congress. Simultaneous translation will be available in specific session halls. For details, please consult the attached timetable.

Europewide Accreditation of the Congress

An application has been submitted to the European Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide accreditation by the following
CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European
Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.net.

Personal Insurance

We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance
for their trip.

Climate

The weather in Venice is pleasant with a chance of rain. The temperatures in
September range from 15-24° C (57-74° F).

Please check with your travel agent if you require a visa for entry to Italy.

Letter of Invitation

Participants requiring a formal letter of invitation to enable them to make their
arrangements to participate in the Congress, may receive a letter via the website.
Please note that this letter cannot be regarded as a commitment regarding scheduling
or financial support from the organizers

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for the best presentations. The regulations will be published
online.

Aeroporto Marco Polo
Distance from hotel:10 km
Drive time: 90 min
Directions: Venice Marco Polo Airport is 10km from the hotel and can be reached
by vaporetto water buses (1.5hrs) or by bus to Piazzale Roma and then by vaporetto
water bus (1.5hrs) or by watertaxi.
Treviso
Distance from hotel: 41 km.
Drive time: 2 hr.
Directions: Take direct bus to Piazzale Roma and then take vaporetto water bus.
Venice can be reached by car via motorway A27 Belluno-Venezia (exit Mogliano
Veneto).
