The 32nd International Convention of IPA & Telecom Israel '98 will convene at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds between November 9 - 12, 1998.

The 1998 International IPA convention continues a 32-year tradition of getting together professionals dedicated to the development of Information Technology. In these meetings, the progress of Information Technologies is reviewed and their impact on society and the economy is discussed.

Telecom Israel '98 is the showcase for Israel's world-renowned telecommunications and data communications industry. This event, which takes place for the second time, will be the main event in the telecommunications industry as well as one of the most prestigious events to be held as part of the official celebration of Israel's 50th Anniversary.

Software, which has become the engine and indeed the soul of many Hi-Tech and all IT products, found a unique and fertile environment in Israel. Software enabled Israel to develop state-of-the-art technologies and products, which brought it to the forefront of IT research and development and placed it among the leaders of the industry.

Telecom Israel '98 & The 32nd IPA convention will focus on the future trends in IT, and their influence on society, the economy, science, business and education, as we approach the year 2000. Israel's leading role in IT development adds a unique flavor to this gathering of well over 3,000 IT professionals from around the world.

We expect participants from all over the world to attend this convention, and top speakers from leading Israeli and international firms to present topics and lead the discussions that will be held during the meeting.
