BADGE

On registering, you will receive your Conference kit in which you will find your name badge. You are kindly requested to wear your badge during all Conference sessions and events.

CME ACCREDITATION

The Conference is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) www.uems.net.
The ISBD Conference is designated for a maximum of 18 hours of
European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.

SESSIONS

Please make sure to be in session halls on time as all sessions will begin as per schedule.

SPEAKERS’ READY ROOM (ORAL PRESENTATIONS)

If using a PowerPoint (or any other computer) presentation, please note you need to bring it on a CD or on a “disk on key”, using the USB port in the computer and load it on one of the Conference computers in the Speakers’ Ready Room, at least 1 hour before the start of the session. You may supply your own laptop computer as a back-up.
If combining video fi lms with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during a coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session - even after checking it in the Speakers’ Ready Room.
Please note that the Conference computers in the session halls are being supplied with Windows XP and Office XP (at least).

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MACINTOSH USERS

If using a Macintosh laptop computer, please note that you need to supply your own, confirm that it has a VGA socket for external signal and come to check it first in the Speakers’ Ready Room as soon as you arrive and later on in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session.
Please note that OH projection, VHS Video projection and 35 mm’ slide projection will not be available.

POSTERS
Posters will only be presented in Delhi from January 27-28, 2008 and will be changed daily.
Posters will be on display on Sunday and Monday for the duration of one day. Your poster should be displayed as per the number in the Program. Posters are to be mounted from 07:30 to 08:30 on your assigned day. Please remove your poster at the conclusion of sessions on your assigned day. The Organizing Committee will
not be responsible for posters that are not removed on time.

Authors are requested to be present next to their poster boards during the Poster Session on Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 16:30-18:00 and Monday, January 28, 2008 from 17:15-18:30.

LUNCH IN DELHI

Buffet lunch will be offered on January 27, 2008 and January 28, 2008
kindly sponsored by AstraZeneca.

INTERNET AREA

An Internet Area will be available for participants’ use in the Ashok
Hotel in Delhi during Conference hours on January 27-28, 2008
kindly sponsored by Organon International.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

The Certificate of Attendance is included in your Conference bag.

BLACKWELL DISPLAY BOOTH

Blackwell, publisher of the Bipolar Disorders Journal, will have a display booth at the Ashok Hotel in Delhi from January 27-28, 2008.

TRANSPORTATION FROM DELHI TO AGRA AND RETURN

A shuttle bus will be provided to take participants from Delhi to Agra for the last day of the Conference. Participants should preregister for the bus (cost $35 round trip). Number of seats are limited and will be allocated upon first come first serve basis. The journey takes approximately 5 hours.

Transfers from Delhi to Agra will leave on January 29 at 07:00.

The transfer from Agra to Delhi will leave on January 30 at 17:30. Please note with regards to your flights that this transfer might not reach Delhi IGI airport before 24:00.

The secont transfer from Agra to Delhi will leave on January 31 at 07:00.

TAJ MAHAL

For your information, opening hours are 08:00-17:00.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

The organizers are not able to take any responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons and property during the Conference. Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance.

CURRENCY

The currency in India is Indian Rupees. Currency can be changed at the Airport and hotels.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside session halls.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is prohibited at all times in the meeting halls, exhibit halls and
restrooms. Your compliance is appreciated.
